The Urban Voices – Building Projection

The sounds of the city, its voices and character drew you into an immersive original sound and 3D building projection installation in Wolfe Tone Square during Dublin New Year’s Festival (30th Dec – 1st Jan). ‘The Urban Voices’ celebrated the acoustic environment of the city though sound activated graphics based around the AXA building. The installation celebrated the acoustic ecology and visualised it through sound activated graphics. The audience were treated to an original soundscape, designed musically around the sounds of the city that they interact with on an everyday basis – Luas trams, city centre traffic, mobile phones, bicycle bells, the voices of the sellers on Moore Street and the ducks in St. Stephen’s Green…creating a uniquely Dublin, urban soundscape.
