High Res offers a state-of-the-art pre-visualisation suite in our Dublin offices, designed to support every stage of pre-production. The suite combines powerful hardware and software with collaborative tools, enabling detailed pre-production workflows such as model building, tech-vis, visual renders, camera fly-throughs, and reflection tests.
Our team works with 3D models from production or developed in-house to verify spaces, drawings, and dimensions. We also build representations of physical LED volume setups inside Unreal Engine and Disguise media servers, creating a powerful environment to test storyboards, camera setups, and complex movements. Each workflow is shaped around the production’s unique needs, uncovering potential challenges, highlighting advantages, and ensuring solutions are in place well before arriving on site.
Established to incentivise film and TV, animation and creative documentary production in Ireland, Section 481 crucially differs from other incentives in that 90% of the eligible spend can be available upfront from the start of production, thus making it very attractive to production.
The rate of tax credit is worth up to 32% of eligible Irish expenditure, available on all goods and services sourced in Ireland, and includes production, post-production and VFX.
